Check this shit out!!!BB Bats! BlackJack gum! Necco Wafers! Licorice Pipes! Man, this shit takes me back to when I was a kid and we'd spend a dollar for a paper bag full of candy at the Little League concession stand. Candy dots and sno-cones, and Abba Zabba. Good times! (-:

Being that I work for the Federal government, you'd think that my co-workers would be able to afford their own sodas. Not so! They are so destitute that they have to STEAL MY MOTHER FUCKING SODA OUT OF THE MOTHER FUCKING REFRIGERATOR!!!
And if I find out who stole my Dew, I will surgically implant my size-10 shoe in their fucking asshole.
I was in Wawa (local convenience store for those of you who don't know) on payday last week and they were having a sale: two six-packs of 24-ounce bottles of Mountain Dew for $5. That's a fucking deal and a half! So I bought two, and I had been keeping three in the fridge. Today I went to get one and one was missing. That just pisses me off. I mean, do you have to steal food from other people? Why not panhandle in the lobby for christ sake? Fucking people, I swear. And this is why I hate people.

1. My band, Max the Dork, released our third full-length (14 songs) CD, "Crapital Punishment," last Tuesday, December 9. You can buy it from us for $5 at shows, or $6 using the Order Form (postage included). Early impressions by people who have bought the CD are that it's our best CD yet (and I agree), and also that it would be radio-worthy if the F-bombs were edited out. I've got to talk to our producer/recording engineer about getting radio edits...
2. We're also performing this Friday night at Brenner's Brew in Bridgeton, NJ. The show is $5 for all ages and starts at 7:00 PM. I will also be filling in for Rhett on drums for fellow 401 Records band The Positives for this night only. No, I'm not taking Rhett's place on drums. He can't make the show and I'm just filling in. No, I don't want Rhett's job. Yes, I'm still giving 110% to the Max the Dork set. I plan on leaving it all on the stage at Brenner's and taking nothing home. And we'll be selling our new CD at the show.
3. I'm trying to get us a gig on the 21st of December at Chubby's in Red Bank. The above (number 2) will apply, except I won't be playing drums for The Positives. More info (maybe) to come.
4. Our CD Release Party is Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at Full Circle Records in Blackwood, NJ. The show starts at 7:00 PM, and it's FREE for all ages. $1,000 for all other ages. Infants allowed only if accompanied by a seeing eye dog. We'll be selling copies of Crapital Punishment for a mere $4, at this show only. It's a bargain no matter how you look at it. Unless you look at it upside down and in the mirror, then it's an u!ebjep.

There's two shows I must absolutely watch every Thursday or I will shrivel up and die. First is Friends. But I have to say, even though the show is still funny as hell, maybe even funnier than ever, it's starting to get all touchy-feely and that's usually the death-knell for sit-coms. This being its last season, fine. But still, they didn't have to get all sensitive and have all these serious story lines. All this "Oooh, Chandler and Monica are adopting a baby! Ooh, Phoebe is getting married to Mike! Ooh, there's all this tension between Ross and Rachel again, they're gonna get back together! Ooh, Joey's getting his own show!"
That's right, Joey is getting his own show. After this season will begin the first season of "Joey." He's the only one that's un-attached. So why not?
Next, ER. Well, ER was always serious wasn't it? I'm starting to like watching Scrubs now, which I call "ER Lite." But there's nothing like ER. And goddammit, they always end the show on a cliffhanger. This week it was Ramano being crushed to death under a burning helicopter. And no one has even figured it out yet. I told Erin yesterday that they'd end the show in the morgue with five bodybags, and one of the medics going "Which one does this go with?" and holding up Ramano's burned up prosthetic arm. But they didn't even get that far. They ended by lifting the wreckage of the helicopter and taking pictures of the pile of charred flesh underneath. I hate when they do that. So now we have to wait until next week to find out what everyone's reaction is to Ramano's death. Except! IT'S RERUNS NEXT WEEK!!! Fuck, they always do this to me, I fucking hate them.
Anyway, there's a glimpse into my Thursday night. Just thought I'd share that.
