I made some more changes to the board today, now that I know that I can. The board is way different than it was when we first started, way back in 2002. Here's a rundown of the changes I made:
1. I added a Google search box to the forums. You can use it to search the board or search the web.
2. I made it so new members don't need to be activated by a staff member. You'll still need to activate your account (an email is sent to you when you sign up, all you do is click the link in it) but otherwise no intervention is needed on our part for you to start posting.
3. I made it so everyone can see the calendar, not just registered users.
I'm thinking of adding a rating system and maybe a warning system, just for fun. But I think I'll put that to a poll.
