As the Baseball All-Star game approaches, it occurs to me that these All-Star games are nothing more than self-gratifying circle jerks. But to my mind the worst of all is the NFL Pro Bowl. Does anyone even watch it? At least the Baseball All-Star break features a homerun derby, and I find the Hockey All-Star game interesting to watch. But the Pro Bowl is the most worthless three hours on TV all year long.

the NFL pro-bowl thing with the rookies where that New England running back guy got hurt a few years ago (Edward something?) is even more useless.

I like football. Dont watch it , but i like it.
I think hockey blows though.So Im going with hockey.
In fact every sport that isnt womans tennis , and professional striping sucks. But thats just me.

I love how MLB is saying that the All-Star game counts this year. The league that wins the All-Star game gets homefield advantage for the World Series. Big fucking deal. What happened last year when the game ended in a fucking tie? Who would have gotten homefield advantage last year? Would you have played the World Series on neutral ground like in Football? More noise and hypocracy. I can't stand it. |

Well I shall be beaten for my opinion but I can't stand watching any baseball on tv no matter how many all-stars are on that field. My favorite is hockey, i love hockey... but then again I am irish... so does my opinion count in the end? ;D

Also, I watched the All-Star game last night and it was pretty good. Edgar Martinez getting hit in the head with a pitch was one of the high points of the game. Fucking fastball cracked his helmet. But the National League pitchers got lit up. That guy, Gagne, who threw away the game in the 8th inning, he should be shot. Not a good outing for him, and not a great outing for Randy Wolf of the Phillies either. At least the game didn't end in a tie. AND IT COUNTS THIS YEAR!!! Whooptie do.
