Deedee Ramone died of an aparent drug overdose yesterday. The Ramones were my introduction to Punk rock. I used to love the movie "Rock and Roll High School," which featured the Ramones. I thought they were a made up band at the time. I mean, I was 10 years old, come on! But the music made such an impact on me that I'm still feeling it today. Deedee will be missed, that's for sure. First Joey, now Deedee. The Ramones are only two deaths away from a reunion. Bummer. Thoughts? Comments? What did the Ramones mean to you?

I saw Rock & Roll Highschool for the first time just a couple weeks ago.
Suckage indeed! I almost cried when Joey died.

Yes, it's a terrible movie. But the Ramones rocked it, and besides, I was 10, and I actually liked Grease also.

Suckage = Dee Dee's death, not the movie, BTW
