If you have Comcast Digital Cable, and thus OnDemand, you can see a free 35-minute concert with THE hardcore/speedmetal crossover band, S.O.D. (with Billy Milano and members of Anthrax Scott Ian, Frank Bello and Charlie Benante). This was their last ever show at The Ritz in NYC, 1992. Good shit, unfortunately edited for content (they blanked out the Fbombs and Sbombs), but otherwise a really good look at a hardcore LEGEND and a band that helped shape my personal writing style, if not musically then at least lyrically. Thanks to J. Peter Parker for pointing out this televisual festivity.

Hells fucking yes! They kicked off the show with March of the SOD, then Sgt. D and the SOD and Billy Milano started standing on top of the PA stacks, and then he fucking stagedived into a backflip from fucking ten feet up and the fucking crowd CAUGHT that fat fucker. Then he started beating someone with the microphone because all you could hear over the PA was BOMP BOMP BOMP BOMP. Classic.
Now, I'm about as big as Billy Milano, and I've done similar stagedives (though not from ten feet up, just off the stage) and I have to tell you, I've got about a 50/50 chance of getting caught vs. dropping straight to the floor. I'm pretty sure the crowd would ALWAYS catch Billy M.

I'd catch you to the best of my ability. Or atleast touch you while you're on the ground
