The worst version of a movie adapted for commercial TV ever. EVER. Why would USA even try? They did a much better job with Howard Stern's Private Parts, mostly because Howard himself got involved. All they did was bleep out the offending words and blur the offending breastiges. But Mallrats, they turned "Shit" into "doo-doo." They maksed Jay's voice with some guy who sounded like a latin lover from Telemundos. It was sad and pathetic. And the worst part, the unkindest cut of all, was the opening scene. Instead of Jason Lee narrating a story about his cousin who kept getting cats lodged in his rectum, they took out the dialogue altogether and replaced it with bad pop-punk. Eech. Next time Mallrats comes on USA, you'd better believe I'll be watching something else. They may as well have tried to broadcast Clerks.
