Thanks to everyone who came out and made Nandofest a huge success. We were able to raise $355 for Nando's family, and they told us that they'd use the money to go toward a headstone for Nando. So for each and every one of you who came out, bought merchandise, grooved with the bands, and helped with the Bro Hymn chorus at the end of the show, you can take heart in knowing that you really made a difference in one family's life, that you helped them to understand how loved Nando was. The applause belongs to you all.
I'd also like to thank Barbara Brenner for allowing us to hold our little show, and to all the bands - Kervin, Steven Lemon Project, and Brokenfixed - for donating their time and their merchandise to a good cause.
And lastly, to Nando, I could feel your spirit with us, bra, and I hope we gave you a good show. Via con Dios, mi amigo.
