We made some changes today to the MtD Forum, and although the changes are cosmetic in nature, the impact is not at all subtle.
Regular visitors to the MtD forum will probably notice first and foremost that the names of the forum categories have been changed. Where once the Max the Dork motto - "Bringing down the music industry one power chord at a time!!!" - had been represented in each of the six categories, the fact remains that there was one category that was missing from the forum and has been missing since its inception. And the problem was, there was no place to squeeze it in.
So, the extra category - Science and Technology - has been added, and the other categories renamed as follows:
Personally, I think that the content of the categories will certainly make a lot more sense now than it did before. It's easier to determine at a glance what the forum category is about. We also reordered the categories, putting the General Discussion forum directly below the Max the Dork News forum.
I hope that this change meets with everyone's approval, and that the use of the MtD Forum will continue to foster and grow into the exchange of ideas that it was originally intended to be.
