Today is the Official release date for Max the Dork's third full-length studio album, Crapital Punishment. This album is the culmination of nearly two-years worth of effort on the part of all the guys in Max the Dork, including a few who are no longer with us. There's fourteen new Max the Dork songs on the CD, and a bonus track which tells the story of where our band's name came from. Plus, artwork by Ed McMillen, a guest appearance by Bret's kids, in-studio chatter...you name it, this CD's got it. And it's only $5!!! You can't beat it with a stick! If you haven't ordered yours already, why haven't you? You can download our Order Form and order it today. Or you can come to one of our shows and buy it from us directly. Plus, keep in mind that we'll be selling them for $4 at our CD Release Party on January 6th (See our Shows Page for details). And you will also, as of this coming Saturday, be able to buy them from Full Circle Records in Blackwood, NJ. They also already sell our first two albums. Go on, get one! Everyone else is! And you know you wanna!

Crapital Punishment..
Love the album, Right now im really diggin 2 songs, Loner and Conscientious Objector and I swear to christ ode to ed is a stroke of genious..
It's quite hard for me to listen to new music, new artists, im very stuck in my ways, so when crapital punishment takes the 2nd cd slot in my car you know it fuckin rocks!!
heres the run down of the 6 cd's I have loaded in my car cd player..
1. Throwing Copper: Live 2. Crapital Punishment: Max the Dork 3: Secret Samadhi: Live 4. The Distance to here: Live 5. Mental Jewelry: Live 6. Birds of pray: Live
As you can see i'm a very closed minded person and I usually don't listen to anything but the band "live" because quite frankly I hate everything else.. Max the dork is the exception to this rule, I freakin love crapital punishment..
Conscientious Objector could of been my thoughts right out of my freakin head, I really wanna smash george dubya.. Altho he is funny to look at.. and to listen too, and have sex with.. oh god, I didn't say that.. where am I? fuck... god damn internet..

At least we're in good company. Five Live CDs and one MtD CD...I'm honored. Especially since I know what Live means to you I'm definitely glad you like the CD. It's without a doubt the best production value we've ever had out of a new release. We've certainly come a long way since the recording of "I Feel Like Shit" (all done with a crappy computer microphone and no bass!).
