I've been getting a lot of emails and IMs from interested fans about the status of Crapital Punishment, so here's an update:
We wrapped up recording of Crapital Punishment on 9-14-03, and now it's in the hands of our recording engineer/producer, Chris Schenk. Once we get the master we'll be sending it off to get pressed, and once we have the first shipment of CDs in our possession, we will announce a release date and the date of our Release Party. Also at that time, we will make the CD available for pre-order, which means you can purchase it now and receive it on or before the release date. Plus we'll throw in a couple extras for pre-orders, like stickers and buttons and whatever else we have lying around (pocket lint, anyone?).
Also, we're extending our Special through the end of the year. The Special works like this: Buy both of the first two albums for $11 (which is a dollar off the regular price of $6 each), and you get the Duets EP for free, plus a free sticker and a free button. Hell, that's a pretty good deal, don't you think? And besides, getting all those MtD CDs will just lather you up for when Crapital Punishment comes out, right?
So in summary, we're done recording, CP will be out soon, you'll be able to pre-order, and the Special is extended through the end of the year. Did I leave anything out? Oh, and we'll be going on a regional mini-tour in support of Crapital Punishment, which should cover Delaware, Jersey, Philly, New York, and Connecticut - perhaps even Baltimore and DC. Look for those dates to be posted soon after we announce the release date.
I got an email from Rush.com recently that said that their "Rush in Rio" DVD has been delayed a month past its original release date. All I can say is, I feel you guys, I really do.
