Ramblings
Tomorrow night (Feb 28th) is the final show of February, a February which has seen much activity in the Max the Dork camp. This will be the fifth show this month, certainly a record for us. It will also be the sixth performance by the current lineup. And despite the fact that I've been sick since February 10th, I think it will be a good show. My voice may not cooperate, but my body is still willing. Plus, the tandem rhythm team of Justin Peter Parker and Hitman Tony is solid as hell. I particularly like Tony's approach to punk drumming, which is certainly different than any I've seen before (outside of Suicidal Tendencies). His current drum setup is at seven drums and I don't know how many cymbals. Normally I'd take a look at a set like that and say "no, not for punk." But goddamn if he doesn't make it work. It's something to behold.
So come on out if you want to see a good show. Also on the bill are 1020, whom I haven't seen live but I've heard their stuff and they're pretty good, and Syphin, whom we've played with numerous times before. We go on at 9 PM, but come out at 8 and see the whole show. It's good entertainment for just $5.
Oh yeah, and it's at Brenner's Brew.
Also, I changed the home page again. I took away that stupid countdown thing, and replaced it with a block that just says "Next Show" and the time and date and all that crap. I thought the countdown thing was cool for a while, but it got old. Anyway, this is simpler.
