Proboards is back up after their version 3 upgrade. Hey! Check out the new Calendar section of the Max Forum!!! It's pretty durn cool! ;D Also, one of the key changes to the forum is the ability to post longer messages. Before, messages were limited to 5000 characters, and now they're up to 10,000 characters. That's twice as much! However, since I'm the only one who ever posts messages that long, you probably don't care.
I've been in contact with a couple of out-of-state bands regarding some sort of gig exchange. Basically, we book a show here in Jersey that involves both us and the other band, and they book a show where they are that does the same. So far, we've booked a show at Brenner's Brew for March 21st with Honest Disaster of Buffalo, NY. The guys will be staying at my house while they're here, so it should be alot of fun. I've also been talking with Smart Republic from South Carolina about doing a show exchange. We haven't worked any particulars out yet, but we will, I'm sure.
Also, we've officially entered the NJ Battle of the Bands hosted by JerseyShows.com, and our first round performance is February 23rd at The Saint in Asbury Park. Right now we're up against four other bands, but there may be another added in the near future, we don't know. Anyway, only three bands will advance to the next round, so come out and support us! You can get tickets from us for $8, or you can buy them at the door for $10. I think you wanna buy them from us. ;D
Edmund McMillen from Cry for Help has been doing art for us like a madman. We've got a new logo, a new cover for the Crapital Punishment CD, and Ed even redesigned our flyers. What a guy. I guess he liked our song about him a lot more than we suspected. Regardless, we've been playing it every chance we get. It's a fun song to do live, so everybody wins. Last time we played it (at the GDD), we even had a mosh pit going. Good times. ;D
