Saturday's show kicked ass royally. I had far less technical difficulties than at the last show, although I'm still trying to find that balance in the PA where I get enough volume to drive the place but not so much that it's all distorted. Unfortunately, the recording was so bad that I might not be able to use any of it on Cunning Linguist. I may use Buddy, just because that one came out the clearest, and I'd like to use at least one song from each show. Although there weren't a lot of people at the show, and only a handful were there explicitly to see MtD (thanks for showing up yet again, Jason!), the uplifting thing about the show is that a lot of people came into the store to buy CDs or whatnot, and ended up staying for the entire show. That was very cool. It felt good to know that they came in for one thing and stayed because of MtD. Value and Quality took the stage after my show, and they rocked the place apart. I was completely blown away by their energy and their musicality. I managed to snag a couple of their demo CD's, and I'm gonna be giving one of them to the boys over at WGLS for the Locals Only show. Coz dammit, they need to be on the show!!! Thanks again for coming out to play, guys, and any time you wanna share a show, just let me know. Next time, I'll play just four songs, and you guys can rock out for an hour! ;D

If you couldn't make it to the show, here's a glimpse of what you missed: Saixy, isn't it? ;D
