Last night I received a disturbing call from Barbara Brenner, owner of Brenner's Brew. Edwin Ray, a friend of her son's, died and she would have to cancel the show. I completely understood, and I called Tony to tell him about the show. He also understood, because Edwin Ray was a friend of his as well. But he also wanted to go on with the show, not for the show's sake, but for Edwin's. He wanted to dedicate the show to the memory of Edwin, and he said he would call Barbara and try to arrange for the show to go on. So, the show has been rescheduled. And the purpose of the show has been changed. Here are the particulars: 1. The show will start on Sunday, November 17th, at 1:00 PM. 2. There will be no cover charge to get in; rather, donations will be accepted for the family of Edwin Ray. 3. Syphin will go on at 1, followed by Syndrome of a Down at 2, and Max the Dork at 3. 4. None of the bands are being paid for this show; all the proceeds are going to the family of Edwin Ray. 5. Max the Dork will be selling CDs at the show, for $7 each. All of the money is going to the family of Edwin Ray.So if you knew Edwin Ray, or if you didn't and just wanna come out to help support the family, or even if you just want to come out for some good music, come on out to Brenner's Brew on the 17th of November. Directions are available at the website for Brenner's Brew. Hope to see you all there.
