It's been over a week since my last news update, and I do have some news items for you, so here goes:
Website Changes
If you've been on the site in the last week, you've probably noticed a few cosmetic changes to the site. For one thing, the mammoth navigation bar on the left-hand side of the page has been replaced by a much smaller, more streamlined version. I consolidated pages that deal with Band items - such as News, Albums, downloads, and the upcoming Bios section, that sort of thing - under Band Stuff, fan items under Fan Stuff, and various ways to contact us - including this forum - under Contact Us.
Aside from the consolidation of pages, I've also added navigation bars to the top of the pages which should make navigation a little easier to understand as well. I also made style sheets for the pages so that changing the look and feel of the site won't mean changing and uploading every page on the site. That doesn't mean I'm going to change the look and feel of the site, but if I want to in the future, it will be easier because of the style sheets.
What does that all mean to you? Not a whole lot. We still have all of the stuff we had before, it's just in different places, and there's more ways to get there than just one.
Demo-lition Revisited
I want to thank everyone who voted for Loner on the Epitaph Records Demo-lition site. For the past week, Loner rode the top ten on the chart, which means we got some very good exposure. This morning it's slipped down to #12 for the first time. But hey, if you haven't voted for it yet, you can still vote. You'll just have to go to the next page to get there. And thanks again to everyone who already voted and made Loner such a popular song for the last week.
VFW Shows
We're planning on organizing and hosting a couple VFW shows in early 2003. Obviously Max the Dork will be at these shows, but some of the other bands we've talked to and who have expressed an interest in playing are:
Look for more info in the weeks ahead. These should be top-notch local shows and a whole lot of fun, so keep checking back.
