When is a fart not a fart? Consider the following examples:
1. A dog eats a poo-filled diaper out of the trash. When it belches, it smells like a fart. Is it a fart?
2. A man farts in a porous seat and the odor is contained within the cushion. When he gets up, another man sits down in the same seat, and the seat makes a farting noise and the odor is released into the air. Is it a fart?
I'm curious to see what people's perceptions are of these examples.
