I don't think Lost is racist at all--I know exactly what he means. A balck person can make fun of a white person and it's all funny and cool---look at half the black comedians out there--they make "cracker" jokes all the time--they don't take shit for being "racist". If we so much as even say one thing that us percieved to be "racist", we are fucked up, racist, e.t.c. and I am also sick of it, mostly because it's publicly accepted. NO ONE says the word "nincompoop" on TV anymore, but oh yea--you bet your ass there are a slew of racist names for white people strung about everywhere out there, and why? Because we made them slaves a million years ago? I didn't fuckin do it, so yes--I get frustrated with the black people out there that act that way, but I am not a racist. <br> Another point---the reason you gave for why someone shouldn't complain and rant and rave Max, is exactly why I don't. People many times don't understand why I remain quiet on issues--they say--"C'mon, voice your opnions!!" but then when I do, I'm always wrong, not smart enough and blah blah. It's too controversial of a subject to even fuckin talk about anymore and it tires me. So I stay shut up.
I am partial to the rape issue....I agree with Lost on that this is America and we should be worrying about our own shit, they did kinda dig themselves into a huge hole over there, and I think it's wrong, but even the innocent may have to suffer along with the rest. I DO feel bad for women, I don't think it's right and I thik there needs to be changes made yes, and that's all I am saying about it cuz after all---I have no right to speak on such things because I am not out there doing anything to stop it.
And lastly--it's raining here right now so I'm gonna go and put on some shorts and a t-shirt and go run around and have fun. Have a nice day everyone!

Just for the record, I don't condone racism in any form, from anybody. It's wrong, it's wrong, it doesn't matter who exercizes it or toward whom. If a black person calls me a honky cracker what-have-you, that's as wrong as if a white person were to call the same black person nincompoop coon whatever. The fact of the matter is, judging a person based on their ethnic background is not just morally wrong, it's short-sighted and ignorant. To say that all peoples of a certain ethnicity act a certain way is ridiculous. You might as well say that all Ford Mustangs drive 80 MPH on the highway all the time. That depends on their drivers, don't you think? And we all have different drivers in us. That's what makes the human race so wonderful, the diversity is such that we could, unfettered by the bonds of discrimination, be a very powerful race indeed. Unfortunately, there are minorities in each ethnicity that strive to keep us all separate and confrontational. Those of us who keep out of the confrontation can work to make it a better place. Those who do nothing are merely perpetrating the farce.

Agreed. I never said all black people act that way either, I was just saying how I think it is wrong and frustrating to me how it is so acceptable for black people to say racial slurs against white people but if we do it, then we are fucked. I understand in a way that they have been held down in the past, but I just don't see that as an excuse for someone to be ignorant and stupid. So now I will shut up.

Please don't shut up, you make some good points. But I don't find it acceptable no matter which way racism flows. Racism is racism, whether it's whites hating blacks or blacks hating whites. Either way it serves no purpose but to destroy the true race, the human race. For more info on racism and what some people are trying to do to end it (and it's a tough battle, believe me!), visit Artists Against Racism. The key to ending racism is education, because in reality it all boils down to the fact that we hate what we fear and we fear what we do not know. The more we know about each other, our backgrounds, our heritage, our ethnicity, the more we will understand that we are not so different after all.

~~~~~>My my, we're quite the little racist aren't we? Just because you didn't learn anything from the 60's (quite interesting considering you "worship" the 60's, whatever that means), doesn't mean that there weren't valid lessons to be learned from them. Just because you judge a person based on the color of their skin, doesn't mean that the world can't be better than that. And when it comes right down to it, just because you flap your gums in a BBS on the Internet doesn't mean you are trying to affect change. People who talk without backing up their words with actions are just talking to hear themselves talk. I recommend strongly that you take a long hard look at what people our age were trying to do in the 60's, because I really feel that the entire effort has been wasted on you.<~~~~
i hate nincompoops... not black poeple.. i have many black friends ...but nincompoops... there is a huge difference between the two ... and what do you mean " poeple our age" ? you are 35.... you didnt do anything in the 60's exept pop out and learn to walk
im not racist... im sick of living in a ghetto neiborhood where i have to put up with little black crack monkeys that made a bigger contribute to the world when they were in thier fathers sacs
When I said "I recommend strongly that you take a long hard look at what people our age were trying to do in the 60's", I meant to take a look at what people were doing who were, in the 60's, our age. In other words, look at what people who were your age were doing in the 60's. That's what I meant. You're right, I did nothing in the 60's except drool, shit, and eat. But then again, that's pretty much what I did in the 80's also.
