OK so for those of you keeping score, here's how it worked. First, Israel and Palestine agreed to a tentative cease-fire, which was seen by many to be a positive step forward. After that, Israel tracked down and killed two Hamas leaders. After which, a Hamas suicide bomber blew himself up on a bus, killing many Israelis including some 20 children. Well, today Israeli armed forces assassinated the head of Hamas by attacking his car with rockets. Now, Palestine has declared that the cease-fire is over. Now, I'm not one to nit-pick, but who was the bad guy here? Sure, the Hamas bomber killed a lot of civilians, including children. But who shot first? Hamas was merely acting in retaliation of the initial blow to their leadership, which was unprovoked and in breach of the cease-fire between Israel and Palestine. Why is it that the US is allying itself with Israel again? Oh yeah, it's because they like to strike first, just like us.
