According to an article on The Register, the UK-based hacker journal, KaZaA has replaced ICQ as the top software download, having been downloaded a staggering 230.3 million times. And yes, I was one of those downloads. By the way, if you ever use KaZaA and are online at the same time that I am, chances are you can download some MtD for nothing. Eh, do a search and find out. On a slightly irrelevant note, I tried to download The Matrix Reloaded twice from KaZaA. The first time I got the first Matrix (eh, not bad, pretty good quality anyway) and the second time I got a swedish porn film called Lustgarden. I guess I'll just go see it in the theater like everyone else.

I try and circulate underground shit on Kazaa. I have a folder in my shared folder I tend to not share shit after I move everything out of the shared folder, leeching bastards) with some CCAF, Partyoneer Brothers, Retard-O-Bot, $uPa VyLL3nZ, Max the Dork, and some other crap I think. People constantly download MTD and ROB. Wewt.

The other day someone downloaded CCAF and Fuck Souls (my old goth-metal band). In this respect, I personally think KaZaA does a public service. And as an artist whose album sales certainly could use some bolstering, I appreciate people downloading MtD. It helps get the word around. So fuck the RIAA. And the MPAA. I mean, it doesn't look as though ticket sales to Matrix Reloaded have been hurt any.
