I was listening to NPR this morning, as I do every day on my way into work, and they were talking about a new boardgame called "Life As A Black Man." This game puts you through the trials and tribulations experienced every day by black men in America. You can get pulled over and harassed by cops for driving your new car. You can be laid off for no reason whatsoever. Or you can be charged with murder and sentenced to life in prison. It's fun for the whole family. The guy who created the game is currently looking for distributors, but you can experience the game or purchase it online at Underground Games, a black-owned and operated corporation. And I highly recommend watching the commercial for the game.

By the way, if you want to hear the full NPR report, which is extremely comical considering it's a white guy playing the game, you can listen to it by clicking HERENot HERE, but HERE

Everyone I've shown this game to thinks it's awesome. And for $30, I'm gonna get it first chance I get. I especially like the commercial for the game. It's funny as hell, especially when the asian guy says "laid off again! The man is keeping me down!" ;D
