PETA Protester Dressed As Jesus Arrested At Pig Roast
Man Accused Of Trespassing

An animal-rights activist dressed as Jesus is facing charges after being arrested during a protest at a church pig roast in suburban Philadelphia.
Four demonstrators with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals had traveled from Norfolk, Virginia, to attend the Hibernia United Methodist Church County Fair and Pig Roast in Chester County Saturday morning.
Caleb Wheeldon says he was dressed as Jesus to make sure his words were taken as gospel.
Police say they arrested him about an hour after his arrival for trespassing and disorderly conduct.
PETA had said it was angry about the event's menu and was asking the church's pastor to serve a vegetarian meal instead of the pork. The organization says it became involved after a receiving a complaint about the pig roast from a member of the church.
West Brandywine Police Chief Walt Werner says a talk radio program had encouraged residents to counter-protest PETA, so a strong police presence had been deployed to the roast.
