Tonight is gonna be an awesome show. As many of you know, it's our first show with the new lineup, and we're all excited about that. I myself have been playing drums all week in preparation, and I feel good. It's amazing how much I missed playing the drums. It's even more amazing that I didn't know how much I missed it until I started playing again.
Anyway, so tonight at Brenner's is gonna be huge. We're playing 9 songs tonight, all originals except one surprise cover (I'm not giving it away!). And of course, we'll have plenty of our CD's on hand in case you want to buy some. We'll also have the new 401 Records comp, Serving Suggestion 2004, on hand which features two songs from Max the Dork, as well as two songs from each of nine other 401 Records bands. So make sure you pick one of those up tonight as well. All proceeds from our merchandise sales go to the Max The Dork Fund To Record Our Next LP. So at least you know it's for a good cause.
Also, we'll be sharing the stage tonight with New York band Richard Cory, which is made up of former members of Honest Disaster from Buffalo (remember we played with Honest Disaster last year at Brenner's). Also, we're excited to be on the same lineup with Millville band Bubba Chucks. There's a big buzz around this band right now, so if you haven't seen them and you're coming to see us, make sure you stick around for their set as well! Hey, you're paying full admission, you may as well see the full show right?
So we'll see you there tonight! It's gonna be a packed house, so get there early and get a good seat. Show starts at 8 and doors open at 7:30. And say Hi to Barbara Brenner for us
