Florida Judge Gets Tough on BullyWhat the fuck is it with Florida? Why are civil liberties constantly being trampled in the so-called Sunshine State? First the 2000 election and now this. No wonder old people love it there. After the age of 65, apparently, people stop giving a fuck about such innane things as, oh, the Bill of Rights. Maybe we should give Florida to Cuba. Would you miss it? Seriously, would you? How about this, we get rid of Florida and make Puerto Rico a state once and for all. Florida could become the retirement-version of Liberia. Once again, by the way, censorship rears its ugly head against something that the combatants haven't even seen. Ala the Phoenix Board of Education when they burned Harry Potter books for being "blasphemous" and "evil." Whatever. If this injunction goes through I'm rallying my ACLU buddies and heading to F-L-A. Who's with me?

Evidence that Jack Thompson is a MoTardSounds like classic delay tactics to me. I'm really surprised the Judge agreed to it at all. For those of you wondering, "What's so bad about this game?" Nothing. The premise is that you are fighting back against bullies. Jack Thompson claims it's a "Columbine Simulator." However, the worst weapon you have at your disposal is a slingshot. And part of the game is interacting in the simulated society, performing such heinous acts as *gasp* delivering papers and playing Dungeons and Dragons. Wow. I'm surprised they haven't locked up these video game designers a long time ago. They're clearly terrorists. They probably have the A-bomb too. I think they helped North Korea in their nuclear weapons testing. Jack Thompson is my new least-favorite person in the world. Congrats, Jack, you beat out George Bush, Kim Jong-Il, and Osama bin-Laden for the top spot.

Justice prevails!!!I'm so glad our system didn't break down and the judge didn't succumb to Jack Thompson's bullshit. And I for one would LOVE to get my hands on this game which, apparently, is available for sale on Tuesday. I love America.

I thought so too. I can't wait for the sequel. It's apparently called "Bully 2: Jack Thompson Tramples Freedom of Expression."
