I got an interesting email yesterday, that went something like this:
For those of you who don't know, Stephen Fossati is the creator, director, main writer, and producer of the Thomas Timberwolf series for Warner Brothers. Needless to say I was blown away. Here's my reply:
And then Mr. Fossati imparted this little tidbit of information:
So there's a very real possibility that I will get my hands on some previously unreleased T. Timberwolf episodes. When I do, you bet your bottom dollar I'll have them up on the website!
Stumbled across your site and was surprised to find the links to the T-Wolf webisodes. It's very cool that you have them up, I hadn't watched them for a while. In addition to the ones you posted, there are six other episodes which we completed but which Warner Bros. never posted on the site.
One in particular was a two part episode called "Money Tree" in which Thomas bemoaned the fact that the budgets for the show were so small (we did each one for about 12k). in the episode Thomas, due to lack of funds, was forced to fire the other characters and present the episode as a one wolf dramatic reading...It wasn't as subtle as we had thought (actually it was kind of snide but it made us all laugh our asses off) and so it was shortly after delivering that episode to the studio that the show was cancelled. It's too bad because we were right in the middle of boarding a two part opera episode tribute to Chuck called "La Timberatta" which will never be finished. Nevertheless there are six other episodes and several new characters sitting on a few computers somewhere that I suspect would be fun to get out. Oh well.
Anyway, glad you liked the shows and thanks for keeping them posted. They were fun to see again.
Regards,
Stephen Fossati

Wow, I was completely blown away by your email! Thanks for the information regarding the six unreleased Thomas Timberwolf episodes. I've been a big fan since they were first released, and my son (age 12) loves them also. Often he'll sit at the computer and watch the episodes with the headphones on, and every once in a while a cry of "T-t-t-t-TIMBER!!!" can be heard from that side of the room (-: I originally downloaded the episodes just to watch at home and for my son, but I eventually decided to post them on the server after posting about Thomas on a message board, and receiving numerous requests for the episodes.
Thanks for all the work you did on Thomas Timberwolf, it's a shame it got cancelled but the episodes you guys did put out were priceless. (-:

Thanks bret. Very glad you enjoyed the shows. they were a lot of fun to make and Chuck was quite proud of them and he really enjoyed the idea of working in a whole new media like flash and the internet. btw,his favorite episode was "you go squirrel friend" although i think that's because he particularly liked gayle ross, the actress who played scarlet rose (in her day job gayle's a very, very attractive flight attendant for southwest airlines). there's always a chance one or two of those unreleased episodes could be floating around out there in e-mail land. if one happens to find its way to you, i'd be thrilled to hear what you and your son thought of them. ;-)
