[glow=blue,3,300]Maxie Awards 2002[/glow]
Blame Jamez. He came onto the board today and said there's no Golden Baby Awards like CFH. Well, because of that, he won the first Maxie for Coolest Newbie 2002.
Here's a list of the rest of you, and I'll email you with code to put in your signature so you can proudly display your Maxie awards.
Typo King: [glow=red,2,300]Pyro[/glow] (OCM was a close second)
Best Performance, Male: [glow=red,2,300]OutcastedMisfit[/glow]
Best Performance, Female: [glow=red,2,300]Green Identity[/glow]
Queen of the board: [glow=red,2,300]JBG[/glow] (Well, the ballots were fixed...)
Best guest performance: [glow=red,2,300]Droptheworld (from Girlband)[/glow]
Best one-timer: [glow=red,2,300]FthNature[/glow]
Well that's about all I can think of for this year. Look for the next Maxies next year on April 1. Good luck to everyone for next year.
In the meantime, I suppose acceptance speeches are in order. So go ahead. The time is yours ;D

That one woman... you mean Halle Berry? She was a little... emotional yes. But you would be too if you were the first black woman in the history of the Academy Awards to win an Oscar. I think she had every right. But yes, she was a little hysterical at first ;D

But you would be too if you were the first black woman in the history of the Academy Awards to win an Oscar. I thought Tom Hanks was.

Wow, I'm shocked. I didn't think I would win so i don't have a speech prepared, so umm. I'd like to thank max the dork and jelly belly girl for hitting up our forum. I'd like to thank everyone who supported my guest post.
I'll see you at the party after the awards show!

But yes, she was a little hysterical at first ;D "She was a little... emotional" she was way more than that, i thought she was choking on her tounge and having a spasm at the same time when she heard her name. And if she even thought about it and how goo dshe was at whatever it happened to be she should have been ready for it. But i supose i dont know what a peice of metal A.K.A oscar really means to them, ohwell.

JBG and I....
Wait. First I wanna pimp Scotty's site ;D
[flash=90,30]http://www.maxthedork.com/flash/girlband.swf[/flash]
OK.
JBG and I went and saw Monster's Ball, which Halle Berry won the Oscar for. All I can say is, wow, she worked her fucking ass off for that Oscar. And Billy Bob Thornton just about fucked off whatever ass she had left. That sex scene was hot!!!
But I digress. Go check out Girlband now! ;D

I really think that the crying by Halle Berry was a pretty convincing at first, and then it became strained and forced towards ther middle of her 10 hour long speech, it ruined it for me--it seemed extremely fake.
