New 401 Records ArtistWith the addition of Metamorphosis-One, 401 Records can now lay claim to ten artists. Not bad for a record label that was created less than a year ago for the sole purpose of distribution of Max the Dork's first album, I Feel Like Shit. Metamorphosis-One is an electronic jazz fusion group which hails from Yokohama, Japan. The solo project is the brainchild of its frontman, who calls himself Metamorphosis-One. The music is some of the best jazz fusion I've heard in the last decade, and even though his lyrics are in Japanese, I feel a certain connection with the music. His music is proof that music as a whole can indeed transcend subtle nuances in the human existence. Changes to MP3.com StationsI've rotated the song stock on both the Pitman Music Scene and the 401 Records MP3 stations. Check out the new songs offered by the nearly 20 artists from Pitman, NJ, and the 10 artists on the 401 Records label. Ten Thousand Hits!Yep, Max the Dork Online has reached a milestone, registering over ten thousand hits in less than a year. I noticed it on Monday, when I logged in and saw the counter at 10,003, but I forgot to mention it until now. Not a bad achievement, I'd say. And we're averaging over 30 hits a day. Thanks to all of the Dork Brigade who help to get the word out every single day. ;D
