So here in fucksville, no one really cares about anything, so they don't show anything on TV, except this stupid cooking show where callers have to guess what this crazy bitch is cooking. "Southwestern potatoes?" "Nope, that's not it! Try again y'all!" The answer to that one was skillet grilled filet southwestern potatoes or some shit.
So yeah, anyway. I've been amazed the last 2 days, they've had the AFL semifinals on. I haven't caught a single hockey game this year, I only just now heard the Stanley Cup's going on. I heard they have shootouts now, which is fucking gay. Lightning atleast made the playoffs, that's good. I figured after 2 years they'd be back to being the worst team in Hockey.
So yeah. Who wins the cup? Just for the shit of it I say Carolina, because fuck Edmonton.

Shootouts don't occur in the playoffs/finals. Only regular season. Playoffs/finals can still go to 15 overtime periods if necessary. That'd be awesome.

New debate: NHL 94 for Sega Genesis - best team?
I'd have a hard time picking between Calgary, Detroit and Chicago. I'm leaning towards Chicago though. Vancouver was badass too.
Best video game ever made.

Breakfast, shmreakfast. Look at the score, for Christ's sake. It's only the second period and I'm up 12 to 2. Breakfasts come and go, Rene, but Hartford, "the Whale," they only beat Vancouver once, maybe twice in a lifetime.

Exactly. Except that was like NHL 95 or 6 I think, the graphics were better. But those games were far inferior. For some reason 93 was absolutely terrible though. 94 is the pinnacle of excellence in video game hockey.

Mallrats came out in 95, but Brodie was clearly playing NHL 94.
